The journey begins in China's capital - Beijing. After walking a section of the Great Wall and visiting grand monuments in Beijing, fly to the capital of Tibet - Lhasa. Lhasa is the site of the Potala Palace, the ancient palace of the Dalai Lamas. Explore other sites in Lhasa including the Drepung and Sera monasteries. Fly to Kathmandu and visit Pokhara the gateway to the Annapurnas. Pokhara allows views of some of the most stunning mountain vistas. From Kathmandu, fly to Paro in Bhutan. In Bhutan, hike to the cliff where Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest) is nestled. Continue to Punakha and the capital Thimpu.
