Welcome!Crystal Mountain Treks is pleased to announce two new tour itineraries for 2010. After 20 years of introducing the boundless beauty and nature of Nepal and Tibet to Western travelers, our company is expanding our tour offerings to introduce another very exciting, and very different, part of the East to the West. On our wondrous journeys, we will offer two fantastically different views of the world's most mysterious and magical country: West Meets East - Mystical North India (November 21 -29, 2010) and West Meets East - The Complete South India Experience (December 1 - 16, 2010). Distinctly different from each other and often viewed as two different countries, individually each offers opportunities to discover the true essence, history and magic of India; enjoyed together, this tour offers a complete portrait of the country about which Mark Twain proclaimed, "So far as I am able to judge, nothing has been left undone, either by man or nature, to make India the most extraordinary country that the sun visits on his rounds. Our groups will be limited to 20 travelers. Pam Perry, a US-based tour director and life-long learner, has planned this itinerary based on her recent four month journey to India and will travel with the group. An experienced local tour guide will also accompany us to interpret and help us understand India's complex history, language and culture.
